Hi,
Just joined the forum and thought I'd introduce myself. I'll give you a quick run down on my recent/past history.
First diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder, then Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome and finally Bipolar.
I tried a few anti-depressants; Lexapro, Effexor XR and Avanza. All to no avail.
Lexapro and Effexor XR made me self harm, something I have never done in my entire life and Avanza basically made me sleep for 16 hours straight then wake up extremely agro.
Just recently I was put on Seroquel after being diagnosed with Bipolar, it was only a small dose of 25mg before bed but it made me have horrific nightmares and hallucinations.
Presently the psychiatrist has put me on 150 mg of Seroquel XR only been on it for one day but so far so good. No wanting to self harm and/or hallucinations.
She gave me this address for Moodtracker in hope that I can connect with others in the same situation.

I'm sorry you had a rocky road with meds in the start, but am happy you've finally found one that seems to work well so far. I hope it lasts and you feel better for a long time. My mix is pretty good for me but I just got hives from a newish med. Hmmm.

Welcome, I am new here too, I am living in the UK. Have family that moved out to Australia 3 years ago.

Welcome, I am new here too, I am living in the UK. Have family that moved out to Australia 3 years ago.
I have also had lots of different diagnosis the latest just recently being bi polar 2. Hope you find the forums here helpful, I have so far and the people very friendly.

Hey there, I was on Seraquel XR for a year...made me gain 53 pounds...so just watch yourself with eating...you will want to eat more, I had to recently switch from that med to Latuda because of weight gain, other than the weight that med worked great for me!

Hi there. Welcome to the forum. I have a very similar diagnosis as you do, with all three disorders. I am curious, how are you being treated for PTSD and BPD? Therapy? If so, what kind?
