Lamictal and Abilify

Hi everyone, Im currently taking 15mg of abilify and just started taking 25mg of lamictal. I haven'e felt a difference on abilify but supposedly in enhances other drugs. I up my dose on lamictal to 50 mg wednesday and just wondering if anyone had this combination or had success on any of these drugs.

I'm sure if u had posted this in the Bipolar section of the forum, u would probably get more traffic than in this one. Just a suggestion.
Now, in response to what ur asking...
I OD'd on Lamictal when I was a teen, and then Abilify was added. Then they upped me all the way to 150mg Lamictal and 90mg(very lethal, I should have died but I lived through it for the whole 2 years that I was on it) of Abilify. So as u could probably tell, I didn't have a good go with Lamictal or Abilify or both together. Sorry.
Now, in response to what ur asking...
I OD'd on Lamictal when I was a teen, and then Abilify was added. Then they upped me all the way to 150mg Lamictal and 90mg(very lethal, I should have died but I lived through it for the whole 2 years that I was on it) of Abilify. So as u could probably tell, I didn't have a good go with Lamictal or Abilify or both together. Sorry.

I've responded well to lamictal (chlorpromazine in Scotland) , there were some side effects but they passed initially after a few weeks. abilify on the other hand gave me some awful side effects from mood swings to upset stomach. Everyone reacts differently to drugs so its hard to say how you'd react :) not much help but maybe a little insight for you

Lamictal and Abilify are a great combo for me. It took a few months to get used to the side effects of Abilify, but after a while, they stopped bothering me. I did take benztropine for two years for akathisia, but I don't even need that anymore.
